Nor’easter to Target Sandy-Battered Northeast
For the most part, a majority of Vermont avoided much of the destruction and devastation of last week’s Hurricane Sandy. We did see some power outages, mostly in the southern portion of the state, but those were mostly repaired within the first couple of days after the massive storm came ashore well south of us.
Right on the heels of this late season hurricane, we will again be facing another large storm coming up the east coast, which will affect roughly the same areas as Sandy. This time, however, Vermont could see more in the way of hazardous weather… mostly in the form of wind and some snow.
The Weather Channel site has (as always) great coverage of the developing/approaching storm. It can be viewed at… http://www.weather.com/news/weather-forecast/northeast-chilly-new-storm-20121102
Stay tuned for further developments and announcements concerning this storm…
